Product Description
The California Air Tools 10020C is a powerful 2.0 HP ultra-quiet, oil-free air compressor with a 10-gallon steel tank. It delivers 6.40 CFM at 40 PSI and 5.30 CFM at 90 PSI, while operating at approximately 70 dB.
The SP-9421 motor operates at 1,680 RPM to reduce noise, vibration, and wear. Its oil-free dual-piston pump is designed for a life cycle of more than 3,000 hours before wear. The Easy Start Valve also reduces starting amperage by creating a no-load condition during startup.
The 10-gallon steel tank is equipped with a wheel kit for easier movement around a garage, workshop, jobsite, or shop. California Air Tools positions the 10020C for applications including framing, roofing, flooring, stapling, nailing, general tire inflation, autobody work, and general use/laser cutting.

California Air Tools specifically recommends the 10020C for framing, roofing, flooring, stapling/nailing, general tire inflation, autobody restoration, and general use/laser cutting.
Maintenance
The 10020C uses an oil-free dual-piston pump, eliminating the need for routine pump oil changes.
California Air Tools specifies replacing the 2 HP air filters every two years, or every year if the compressor is exposed to a dirty or dusty environment. The specified replacement filter is Part 90260.
The compressor should be operated within its specified 70/30 duty cycle and pressure limits. Optional accessories listed by CAT include an air hose and tool kit, moisture/oil separator, refrigerated air dryer, and automatic drain valve extension kit; these are not included with the standard 10020C.
