The California Air Tools 10020DCAD-22060 is a 2.0 HP ultra-quiet, oil-free air compressor equipped with a 10-gallon steel air tank, integrated 80% Air Dryer, and factory-installed automatic drain valve.

The compressor operates at just 70 dB and uses an oil-free dual-piston pump system. The 2.0 HP motor operates at 1680 RPM, while the SP-9421 motor/pump is tested for a minimum pump life of 3,000 hours before service.

The integrated 80% Air Dryer is designed to remove water vapor from compressed air to help protect sensitive tools and machinery. CAT uses an aftercooler to condense water vapor before the air passes through the dryer system.

The factory-installed EZ-1-2321 Automatic Drain Valve is designed to eliminate the need to manually drain the compressor's air tank.

Maintenance

Dry Air System:
CAT recommends replacing the 1 lb bag of activated alumina desiccant located inside the vertical dry-air tower every 3,000–4,000 motor/pump running hours, approximately every 1–2 years under average use.

Air Filters:
Replace the two 2 HP air filters every 2 years, or annually when the compressor is exposed to a dirty or dusty environment.
