The California Air Tools 10020DCAD is a 2.0 HP ultra-quiet, oil-free air compressor featuring a 10-gallon steel horizontal air tank, integrated 80% air drying system, and factory-installed automatic drain valve.

Operating at approximately 70 dB, the compressor is designed for indoor environments where reducing operating noise is important. Its oil-free dual-piston pump is designed for longevity, performance, and reduced maintenance.

The integrated 80% Air Dryer uses an aftercooler and dryer system to remove water vapor from compressed air. The factory-installed EZ-1-2321 automatic drain valve helps eliminate the need to manually drain the air tank.

Maintenance

Air Dryer Maintenance

CAT recommends replacing the 1 lb bag of activated alumina desiccant located inside the vertical dry-air tower every 3,000–4,000 motor/pump running hours, approximately every 1–2 years under average use.

Air Filter Maintenance

The two 2 HP air filters should be replaced every 2 years, or annually if the compressor is used in a dirty or dusty environment.

Automatic Drain

The factory-installed EZ-1-2321 automatic drain valve uses a manually adjustable timer to control the frequency and duration of automatic tank draining.
