Product Description

The California Air Tools 10020DSPC is a 2.0 HP ultra-quiet and oil-free air compressor designed for environments where low noise and dry compressed air are important. It combines a 10-gallon steel air tank, an integrated 80% air drying system, an aftercooler and a soundproof cabinet to provide clean, reduced-moisture compressed air with only 58 dB of operating noise.

The SP-9421 motor/pump operates at only 1680 RPM to reduce noise, vibration and wear. The integrated aftercooler condenses water vapor from the compressed air before it enters the 80% air dryer, while activated alumina desiccant helps remove additional moisture to protect sensitive tools and equipment.

The compressor is enclosed in a sturdy soundproof cabinet mounted on caster wheels for easier movement. Acoustic insulation, two exhaust fans and two latching cabinet doors help reduce operating noise while providing convenient access for maintenance.

Applications

The California Air Tools 10020DSPC is ideal for indoor environments where noise is a major concern, including offices, shops, stores, warehouses and homes. Its 80% dry-air system makes it suitable for dental applications, dental laboratories, dental milling and other applications requiring reduced moisture in compressed air.

Maintenance

The oil-free pump eliminates the need for compressor oil changes. Replace the activated alumina desiccant approximately every 3,000–4,000 motor/pump operating hours, typically every 1–2 years depending on use. Replace the 2 HP motor air filters every two years, or annually when the compressor is exposed to dirty or dusty conditions. Periodically inspect the cabinet exhaust fans, air ports, filters, drain system and electrical connections.
