Product Description

The California Air Tools 10020DSPCAD is a 2.0 HP ultra-quiet, oil-free air compressor combining a 10-gallon steel air tank, 80% air drying system, aftercooler, automatic drain valve, and soundproof cabinet into one compressed-air system.

Operating at only 58 dB, it is designed for indoor environments where noise is a major concern. The steel cabinet is mounted on caster wheels and lined with acoustic soundproofing foam to reduce compressor noise and vibration.

The integrated 80% Air Dryer uses an aftercooler and dryer system to remove water vapor from compressed air. The factory-installed EZ-1-2321 Automatic Drain Valve eliminates the need to manually drain the air tank and uses an adjustable timer for drain frequency and duration.

The oil-free dual-piston pump is designed for longevity, performance, and reduced maintenance. CAT states that the SP-9421 motor/pump is tested for a minimum pump life of 3,000 hours before service. 

Maintenance

Air Dryer:
Replace the 1 lb bag of activated alumina desiccant located inside the vertical dry-air tower every 3,000–4,000 motor/pump running hours, approximately every 1–2 years under average use.

Air Filters:
Replace the two 2 HP air filters every 2 years, or annually if the compressor operates in a dirty or dusty environment.

Automatic Drain:
The factory-installed EZ-1-2321 automatic drain uses a manually adjustable timer to control the frequency and duration of the draining process.
