The California Air Tools 20040SPCAD is a 4.0 HP ultra-quiet and oil-free air compressor designed for professional applications where reliable compressed air and reduced operating noise are important. It features a 20-gallon steel air tank enclosed in a soundproof cabinet and operates at only 65 dB.

The compressor uses twin 2.0 HP oil-free dual piston motors operating at 1680 RPM. This configuration is designed to provide strong airflow while reducing noise, vibration, and wear. The compressor delivers 12.80 CFM at 40 PSI and 10.60 CFM at 90 PSI, with a maximum pressure of 125 PSI.

The 20040SPCAD includes a factory-installed EZ-1-2321 automatic drain valve. The automatic drain is designed to eliminate the need to manually drain accumulated moisture from the air tank. Its timer can be configured for the frequency and duration of the draining process.
